Class Topics

This 3-hour course is designed to enhance the student's knowledge of the provisions in the UMC Chapter 7 with sizing calculations. Throughout the class and with the use of hands-on experience training and bookwork, each student should be able to correctly apply the following by the end of the course: The Standard Method, Known Infiltration Rate, Interior Space Calculations, The One Permanent Opening Calculation, and both Two Permanent Opening Calculations. At the end of the course, an exam will be given to ensure each student has obtained and retained the code provisions of UMC Chapter 7.
